This is the fourth blogpost in a series of eight which covers the install of Hyperion EPM components in a distributed environment. The distributed environment has been created using Oracle VirtualBox and is made up of Windows Server 2012.

The Essbase server will be housing the Essbase Server(I should learn to come up with more non-obvious names), which acts as a data storage for the Essbase and Planning application. The snapshots showing the configuration of this server is present in the below snapshot.
The above snapshot shows that the Essbase Server install has been completed successfully.
